The Teatro La Fenice is set to host a musical event of extraordinary depth during Holy Week. On Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 April 2025, M° Ton Koopman will take the podium to lead the Orchestra and Chorus of Teatro La Fenice in a performance of the monumental St Matthew Passion BWV 244 by Johann Sebastian Bach - one of the most moving works in the sacred music repertoire, enriched by an exceptional vocal cast.

A unique project that transforms migrant boats into musical instruments. At Antiruggine, on Saturday, April 5 at 9:00 PM, Mario Brunello will play the Cello of the Sea, crafted in the lutherie workshop of the Opera prison. Alongside him, Arnoldo Mosca Mondadori will share an extraordinary artistic and social experience.

Venice Biennale 2025 promises to be one of the most compelling editions in recent years, with three major directors leading the Theatre, Music, and Dance sectors: Willem Dafoe, Caterina Barbieri, and Wayne McGregor. Three powerful and complementary visions that span body, sound, and myth, narrating the transformation of art and society. From May 31 to October 25, Venice becomes a crossroads of creativity, spirituality, and the future.

Nicola Colabianchi is the new superintendent of the Teatro La Fenice in Venice. Composer, artistic director and prominent figure in the Italian musical scene, he proposes a vision that combines tradition, young talents, 20th-century symphonic repertoire and an international openness.

'Note Future' is a Concert Season which shows off the most distinguished musicians from all over the Italy. Now in its sixth year, it will take place at the Teatro Dario Fo in Camponogara (VE) in the months of February and March 2016.

Eight days of pure music in close contact with the first parts of the most prestigious orchestras, with the specialists and the most renowned soloists. Ninety hours of theoretical and practical courses, orchestra rehearsals, audition simulations, seminars and concerts to prepare young musicians to win the more coveted competitions, to refine the repertoire and to discover the secrets of life in orchestra. All this is Orchestral Life!
