A previously unperformed opera by Antonio Smareglia, a tribute to major opera figures, and a series of events dedicated to the renowned librettist Luigi Illica: from 9 to 12 July 2025, Castell’Arquato (PC) will become a charming open-air stage for the twelfth edition of the Festival Illica, under the artistic direction of Jacopo Brusa.

Una Viola d’Amore is the title and the heart of the upcoming event at Antiruggine in Riese Pio X (TV): an evening of music, stories, and life experiences featuring Danilo Rossi, an extraordinary performer and former principal viola of Teatro alla Scala for 36 years, joined by pianist Stefano Bezziccheri, his trusted companion in music and beyond.
